Paper crafted quilled flowers on a beautiful side fold card

Using a selection of items from the Tonic Give It A Twirl Box, Shabneez has created a beautiful side fold card.

Step 1

Take a sheet of the Red Velvet pearlescent card and die cut the card base using the largest Give It A Twirl die from the box. Using a pencil draw a line as shown.

Step 2

Score along the pencil mark to make your side fold card.

Step 3

Take one of the spiral Give It A Twirl flower dies and die cut 5 times from the patterned leaves paper. Insert the edge of the outer spiral into the quilling tool and gentle wind around to form a flower. Secure with glue. I used a glue gun.

Step 4

Once the rolled flower is made stick one of the crystal gems in the middle using glue. Repeat for the other 4 flowers.

Step 5

Take the Nuvo Rich Rosewood Hybrid ink pad and ink up one of the leaves from the Give It A Twirl stamp set. Stamp on to the green dotty paper and fussy cut the leaves. You will need 9 in total.

Step 6

Die cut the border from the Pistachio Green card and stick on to your card base with glue.

Step 7

Stick the flowers and leaves on to the card and die cut ‘Enjoy The Little Things’ from the Opera Red Mirror card and the background from the Pistachio Green card and stick 3 leaves on to it. Finally stick the ‘Enjoy The Little Things’ in the centre of the fold.
